I have traveled all over the country to take pictures, both film and digital. Most recently I spent 2 years in New Mexico. I've also been most fortunate to be surrounded and inspired by talented photographers my entire life, including my grandfather, aunt, and cousin. I love the challenge and reward of good photography. That is why some of my favorite subjects are animals, young children, and musicians. They don’t pose for you, so it is up to the photographer to capture that perfect moment! I think that one of the best things photography can do for us is point all all the things around us we don't always notice and the beauty and wonder they contain.
A flickr commenter once said "All your shots are like little parts of one big story. I attempt to describe your photo-stream like colors and moods from the life of one happy woman" and I was thrilled that my photos reflect that kind of life happiness. And photography is one of the things that keeps me this happy."
